Lakota Nation Invitational

Tomorrow we race at Hart Ranch again, this time the Lakota Nation Invitational. The "LNI" Cross Country Meet is part of a larger athletic, academic and cultural event, most of which takes place in the winter where the basketball tournament is the highlight. You are all "stepping up a level" and representing Stevens, so be your best tomorrow: best preparation, best efforts, best sportsmanship and best character.

It's a great meet and I know you'll love it- weather looks really good, too. Also, if you want to purchase some LNI gear, there will be sweatshirts, t-shirts, etc. available.

I will be there around 8:45 and get the packet / hand out bibs.

• arrive at least 1:15 before your race as we'll warm-up 1:00 before your race

• we'll look to upperclassmen (or ANY leaders) to get things rolling.

Stick around for the awards- they'll be at the shelter area.
