Tempo Run

We actually did a Tempo 10 days ago, but I want to get into the 21-day cycles that we'll use in-season so that we get really accustomed to the rotation of workouts and can add specificity as we get closer to racing. 

Main Workout

  • Tempo Run (not race) 

  • 50 mi/week= 5 mi Tempo

  • 45 mi/week= 4.5 mi Tempo

  • 40 mi/week= 4mi Tempo

  • 35mi/week= 3.5mi Tempo

  • 30mi/week = 3mi Tempo

  • 25mi/week = 2.5mi Tempo

  • 20mi/week= 2 mi Tempo
