PRE-SEASON CHECKLIST

As we get closer to the official start of the season, there are several items you will need to take care of in order to practice or compete. 

Please have these items completed BEFORE our first practice on Monday, August 17th (6:00 AM)

#1 ATHLETIC PHYSICAL   

This needs to be completed before the first practice (6:00 AM on Monday, August 17th).  Get your physical and then turn the completed form into the Activities Office at Stevens HS.  Please get this done, as you won't be able to practice without it!

#2 ACTIVITY FORMS

In addition to the Athletic Physical, you will need to complete a few forms that can be found on Family Access in Skyward.  On Family Access, you'll find the Consent for Medical Treatment along with the Concision Form and Athletic Rules. 

#3 TEAM SIGN-UP & SURVEY

  • Team Sign-up: Please sign-up for the season HERE​ so that we have your contact and emergency information at hand. 

  • Team Survey: Additionally, please complete the Survey HERE so that we can get a picture of who we're working with! 

#4 REMIND TEXT INFORMATION LIST

We have been using the REMIND APP to communicate short bits of information such as practice times, etc.       *Please sign up by texting @stevensxc to the number: 81010 

#5 TEAM GEAR

Each students will need a team t-shirt.  We'll have an early order TEAM STORE open NOW until Aug 16th for those that want their gear before the first meet.   The only requirement is the T-Shirt, which we'll use for Team Pics/Pre-Meet Warm-Ups. 

 

We will also have a BSN Team Store open soon where you can purchase optional Under Armour gear.

#6 STRAVA

We'll continue to use Strava during the season, as I don't think we'll be able to share things like pens, etc.

Options to log training (super simple once you get your account going) 

1.) Add training & comments manually on your Strava account

2.) Download the Strava App & use your phone as a GPS to automatically upload runs. 

3.) Upload Garmin or other watch GPS data to your account. 

#7 OTHER ITEMS RUNNERS NEED

a.  Training Shoes

b.  Racing Spikes 

c.  Watch or GPS Watch 

d. Water Bottle for Daily Use *this is required this season, as we can't bring water jugs, etc.
